What do my readers say ? 'Don't Spank the Vamp' is the second book I've ready by CJ England, and it is definitely a page-turner! While the story is novella length and advances at a rapid pace, you never feel as if you have 'missed' part of the story somewhere. The hero, Aidan, is very hot, very alpha, but willing to admit his own faults and rectify them. The depth of his love and heartbreak are just flooring. Dawn, the heroine, is someone most women can identify with, and she reacts realistically to the adversity in the plot. What a fun and delightful story! It started out lighthearted and fun and kept my interest all the way through. Even though the hero and heroine made love the first night they met, the author had built up the suspense until you felt they had known each other for much longer. Be prepared to laugh, love and rejoice as you read this exciting story. Also, expect to want to play with some of the toys introduced to Dawn, and hope you have a partner as accommodating as Aidan! I can only hope Ms. England will grace us with Aithne's story in the near future.

Watching as Dawn learns about how couples can play together with the toys (and a bit of bdsm) with Aidan was entertaining reading. I also enjoyed watching as Dawn worked at becoming the well-known artist she wanted to be.
