What do my readers say ?
I started reading, and then I couldn’t put it down
and had to stay up and finish
Blindsided! I love your story!
Extremely clever plot, very tender and moving treatment of
Emma as a blind woman, and of course the Greek pantheon, who
have been my friends since childhood.

Blindsided
by CJ England is the heartbreakingly romantic story of Emma and the
god Apollo. When Emma’s friend declines her invitation to the
Arcadia Ball, Emma yearns to attend. However, Emma is blind and she
is nearly turned away from the Island due to the presence of her
guide dog, Delphi. Apollo intervenes- and then agrees to grant
Emma’s deepest wish as part of her fantasy. But will Apollo be able
to see past his own prejudices to understand Emma’s true wish?
Before
reading any CJ England story, the reader should carefully prepare by
having a box of Kleenex and a fire extinguisher handy! Her stories
are guaranteed to make the reader cry as she captures such deep,
heart wrenching moments perfectly while her sex scenes are hot
enough to start fires! Emma is a truly endearing character as her
blindness actually makes her stronger and is part of her whole
persona. In Blindsided, Ms. England continues to work her special
magic that makes her stories so well-loved by a variety of fans.

The
most romantic story within the anthology, is BLINDSIDED by author CJ
England. Emma is a character who is blind. Through passionate scenes
together, Emma and Apollo's love for one another strives beyond
words. Apollo gives up his life at Mount Olympus so that she may
continue to be all she is, including her being blind. Their love is
one of intense sensuality, that the reader will have tears in their
eyes for the love they give to one another. But as the writer CJ
England further gives us in the story, is that love continues to
grow and change for each other.

Great Gods and Goddesses! What a fun, witty and
quirky tale of love, acceptance, and orgasmic sex. BLINDSIDED was
outstanding. I loved Apollo both in the story and in the stories I
grew up in. He was always my favorite deity. I loved CJ England’s
modern day spin on his life with Emma. I am so happy that Apollo got
another chance at love and life. Emma was perfect for him. She was
so sweet, and humble. I’m not denying that there were some times
that Emma was a little too proud, she knew the story of Apollo and
she should’ve accepted him for who he was. But that’s love for you;
love is never easy or perfect. And CJ sure knows how to make her
characters grow and bloom together.

9 Gargoyles Blindsided is a very romantic tale written by
author CJ England. We are shown one should never assume what
another's greatest wish is, and sometimes, just sometimes, love can
conquer all.

Emma has had a hard life, yet
manages with a brave smile even though she is not perfect or
beautiful like the other people at the Masquerade Ball. The
Masquerade only invites people that have no blemishes or flaws on
them. Having Emma at this masquerade might bring catastrophe, but
it's going to take one god to give her a life she's always dreamed
of. Through fantasies, wishes and dreams there is always a price to
pay. Can Apollo, God of Light and Music lure her into believing in
faith, love and possibilities?
My very favorite of all had to be Blindsided by CJ
England. I loved that you had an average heroine,
not beautiful or famous, but one that needed a new change in her
life. There wasn't pity for this heroine and I liked the fact that
she was shown a new world and had to decide whether Apollo is worth
it to sacrifice a life without him or with him.
