The next night was Vampire's of the Caribbean.  There was a truly... ummm... interesting show done by Heather Graham and her cohorts, and the costumes were so much fun.  Here I am with CJ Hollenbach as a vampire pirate and his wench!

CJ and Bill Freda.  He's a great guy and I hope I can stay in touch with him.

CJ  and new good friend Morgaine  We happened to be next in line to each other in the promenade for the Faery Ball.  We both looked so good together, people thought we were a pair, so we went with it. She was the Forest Goddess and I was the Elven Ranger who protected her.

Things went from there and we got to know each other.  She is a great person, hoping to be published writer, and one of the people who chooses who the Mr. Romance contestants are going to be.  Do I know how to pick a friend or what?

What a sweetheart he is.  He's as nice as he is good looking.

Dorchester Publishing's Racy Rock and Roll Dance Party also brought out some great costumes.

Morgaine and I decided we must be soul sisters since it we came up with similar costumes yet one more time.

Not a lot of pics at this party, I was too busy dancing up a storm.

But I had a GREAT time earlier.  I was invited to a private party by the Cosmo Girls.  This is a group of writers of whom Lori Greiman (Travis's Mom) is one.  We celebrated so well we wound up being late for the party!

These wonderful guys have got to be two of my favorite people on the entire planet... Michael and Jerad.  Michael won the reader choice award and Jerad the contestant's choice award.  They were fantastic. 

We joked that we were a Romance Oreo Cookie.  LOLOL

He cracked me up because when he had me sit on his lap for the picture, he did like a lot of guys would do, and ran his hand up my leg.

That was no big deal, but then he made the comment that here I was a married woman and I STILL shaved my legs.  I busted up and then whispered in his ear that I always kept them shaved (which I do) because then I could wrap them around my husband any time I needed to.

Busted him up in return and when we realized other people had heard, we both turned red!

Liddy Midnight and CJ.  This was the last night.  The New Concepts We'll Meet Again Party.  It was supposed to be a slumber party, but no one really dressed up.  We were all too tired, I guess.  I had a great time, spending time with Liddy and Morgaine and other authors and fans I had gotten to know.

Liddy does her good deed for the day when she uses a cold can of pop to put out the pain of sunburn on a new friend.  She's holding her breasts because she is not wearing a bra and her nipples are ummmm... showing!

Mark Johnson serenades us all as we say goodbye.  He's good looking and he's got a hell of a voice.  And he plays piano too!
